From the high bluffs and wide expanse of the Mississippi River at Lake Pepin to the cranberry bogs of Monroe County; from the peaceful valleys and family farms to the bustling neighborhoods of Water Street and the Third Ward in Eau Claire; from the backwaters near Trempealeau and Nelson to the forests of the Ho-Chunk nation; from the towns big and small and the beautiful countryside in-between, I am blessed to represent some of the most beautiful places in our great state.
In our towns and cities and throughout the countryside, people work to create great communities. Our schools form the heart of our communities and bring us together. Family farms and agriculture related businesses help keep our towns thriving.
From our roots in the land come a strong people. Family, faith and community are important. Building a strong community takes many hands and many hours. Helping neighbors, sharing farm machinery, holding fundraisers, planning the church festival, working for the booster club or the fair; we know how to work together to get things done.
Results matter: Whether the park bench needs paint; the flowers on Main Street need water; the cattle need to be moved or volunteers are needed for the Boys & Girls Club getting the job done is important.
I am honored to represent the people of this great district. To earn your respect, I work hard to represent all those of our great district. Getting results matter to us. That is my daily task.
Helping our schools and farms, business and health care; helping people navigate the state bureaucracy from Agriculture to Workforce Development; serving you is my job.
I serve as your voice in Madison. Do let me know your concerns.
And come back soon.
Your State Senator
