Cell Phone Do Not Call Sign Up Starts Today – Cell phone consumers that want to sign up for Wisconsin’s “Do Not Call” list can start signing up their cell phones today. The new list will be sent to telemarketers on September 1; to make that list, consumers must sign up before the end of August. The addition of cell phones to the list makes Wisconsin’s “Do Not Call” law even stronger. This highly popular, successful state program is not paid for my tax dollars and is a great example of where a state program helps people. Senator Erpenbach continues to be proud to have been a part of this programs creation and improvement. Consumers can register between now and the end of August to be included in the first “no call” database that includes cell phones. Register online at https://nocall.wisconsin.gov/web/home.asp or by calling 1-866-9NO-CALL (1-866-966-2255) toll-free in Wisconsin.
