Teacher Prep Time Bill
Governor Doyle signed the Erpenbach teacher prep time bill which will require schools to allow teachers to negotiate for time they spend on non-instruction classroom work.

Home Buyer Protection Act
Senator Erpenbach and Governor Doyle at the bill signing of the Home Buyer Protection Act authored by Erpenbach. The Home Buyer Protection Act allows buyers to sue the seller of a home for fraud if the seller intentionally lies about the condition of their property and conceals a major defect.

Malinda's Law
Governor Doyle signed Senator's Erpenbach's "Malinda's Law" to regulate traveling sales crews in Wisconsin. The bill was passed after nearly a decade of work by Erpenbach and his constituent Phil Ellenbecker whose daughter Malinda was killed in a van crash that took the lives of seven members of a traveling sales crew on Interstate 90.
