Welcome to my website! I represent Wisconsin’s 23rd Senate District, which is made up all of Chippewa county, and parts of Clark, Eau Claire, Dunn, Marathon and Wood counties.

Statement on State Budget Passage
“Despite the fact that we started this process facing the largest deficit the state’s history, the Wisconsin legislature has a responsible, balanced budget and for the first time in 30 years it was done on time. By moving quickly and working together, Democrats in the Assembly, the Senate and the Governor’s office avoided the kind of budget disaster that many other states are facing.

Legislature Passes Plan to Increase Access to Veterans Assistance Grant Program
MADISON – Legislation that would make it easier for low income veterans to access the Veterans’ Assistance Grant program moved one step closer to becoming law this week. Both the State Senate and the State Assembly passed SB-39, legislation authored by State Senator Pat Kreitlow (D-Chippewa Falls) and Rep. Nick Milroy (D-Superior).
