Senate Democrats Announce Comprehensive Job Creation Package
Madison — State Senator Julie Lassa (D-Stevens Point) and Senator Pat Kreitlow (D-Chippewa Falls) today introduced comprehensive job creation and economic development legislation they said would be the major focus of the Senate Democrats agenda in the coming months. Called the Wisconsin C.O.R.E. Jobs Act, the package expands current tax credits and grant programs and adds new initiatives to spur business development and retention as well as worker training.
