Citizen Help Sought to Write State Public Policy

Madison … Senator Dale Schultz is looking for citizens to help reform some of our state laws.

The Wisconsin legislature has formed study committees to update public policies on several important issues.  Members of the study committees include both legislators and citizens with experience or expertise on the issue.  Schultz is seeking citizens to represent our region of the state on committees.

 AUDIO

The legislature has formed committees on twelve different issues areas, including school safety and biofuels.  Schultz has information on all twelve legislative study committees on his website at senatordaleschultz.com.

Schultz said the common sense of citizen members explains why bills coming out of these committees usually gain strong bipartisan support.
