Easy-to-keep resolution: “No Call” Registry Renewal

Madison – To keep a phone number on Wisconsin’s “No Call” list, Senator Dale Schultz says renewing your registration is one resolution that anyone can keep.

The Wisconsin “No Call” list limits unsolicited telephone calls from people selling products and services.  A phone number stays on the list only two years unless it is re-registered before the two years are up.

Because it is simple, quick and free to renew or add a phone number to the No Call list, Schultz suggests making it an annual item at the start of each year.

If you have already signed up for the “No Call” list and are still receiving unsolicited calls, Schultz wants to know about it.  Schultz said he can work with the state consumer protection department so violators are investigated.

Register your phone number on the Wisconsin No Call List with a toll-free call to 866-966-2255 or, on the web go to https://nocall.wisconsin.gov/web/registration.asp.
