An Early New Year’s Resolution

As the days grow shorter, we come to realize that 2009 is nearly behind us, and how unusual a year it was.  The Legislature completed its work for the year, and with the exception of a potential extraordinary session to deal with a Milwaukee Public School governance proposal or drunk driving legislation, lawmaking has shut down until January, 2010 - and perhaps not a moment too soon.
