Darling Recognized For Pro-Conservation Votes
MADISON… State Senator Alberta Darling (R-River Hills) was among state legislators recognized by the Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters for their pro-conservation votes during an event Tuesday night at the Milwaukee Environmental Consortium.
The Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters honored legislators for their votes on key bills that promoted renewable energy, protected wetlands, reauthorized the Stewardship Fund program and adopted the Great Lakes Compact.
“Protecting Wisconsin’s natural resources is a big priority in my district,” said Darling. “I thank the hundreds of constituents who took the time to contact me about these issues this session.”
